So far I’m comfortable with the first 3 things but I have used them before. Google has developed a unique way to keep important information at your fingertips, although it takes some getting used to and can lead to an information overload. I like the concept of bringing the information to the student instead of the way we have been doing it. On the down side, it costs money and requires people to change their way of thinking. I can see this happening in my school in very small steps – and forget the Kindle, we don’t have the money for it. Personally, if I need important information from the internet I have to print it. I don’t process things as well reading from a screen as I do with a hard copy.
OK – so I’ve gotten this far. I need to spend more time on my blog page and avatar – although I’ve created an avatar for my own wiki page. I have already designed my google page and have a google docs account though and organization I volunteer for. I’ve made my calendar but am more likely to use a hard copy since I can carry it around with me. I’m looking forward to learning new things.
